For Beginners, it”s a good idea to actually watch some competitions before you decide to enter yourself. Natural bodybuilding competitions are a great place to start showing their physical muscles. However, there are a few tips to keep in mind. This article speaks of natural body building contest preparation tips for amateurs and young.

There are various Natural bodybuilding Events like BNBF British Finals &
BNBF British Pro Grand Prix, OCB Cape Cod Natural IFPA Gaspari Nutrition Pro, NGA Windy City Classic, OCB Cape Cod Natural IFPA Gaspari Nutrition Pro, Natural OLYMPUS Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships , NANBF Great Lakes SuperNatural Muscle Classic XVIII, New England Fitness Weekend
WBFF New England Championship, USBF Pennsylvania Natural PRO-AM Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini, NPC Texas State Natural Championships

How to start preparing for Natural bodybuilding Events: Hit the gyms and fitness centers, trainer takes the beginner bodybuilder to task, after passing the assessment tests to determine the level and physical abilities to register for the appropriate weight level.

Prepare for Natural Bodybuilding Event six months to a year before. It takes a lot of commitment and if you are not sure you can follow through then it is better not to try. Almost a year before the Natural body building event have a good look at yourself in the mirror and watch where you need more muscle definition. Candidates show their muscular physique as best they are able to carve. It slot machines online is important to have as little fat as possible, with strong muscles throughout the body cut.

Live streaming of free Natural Bodybuilding events to be offered on some bodybuilding sport websites like IFPA, Natural bodybuilding Events are broadcast by OCB/IFPA. They may serve as a reference to your preparation.

Your choice of music is also important. Ultimately your routine will be stand out from the crowd or be a routine hundreds of times they have seen before. Your choice of music should help you choose your poses and your own pace.

The clothes you do strength training is also vital to show your physique. Be sure to choose clothing in good taste, but revealing. Ultimately speedo costume for men and one bikini for women are ideal. Also make sure that the clothes you wear to flatter a color that suits you and is extremely comfortable and not restrictive.

It”s a good idea when you practice your routine or play with what you have a third party video for you so you can watch it critically. It is also a good idea to have someone you trust with you, watch it also for different views.

In the process leading to your competition, you must also pay rigorous attention to training and diet plan. There is no time to loosen when preparing for a competition. You must be continuous and consistent and, ultimately, your hard work will pay off.

Diet plan: bodybuilders must take 2 to 3 gm of protein per kg of body weight to recuperate and rebuild muscle. Best sources come from beef, chicken, fish, soy, milk, whey and egg white. Chicken, whey and egg white preferred as contain less fat. For a small section of body builders food are more nourishing like supplements of protein powder, milk, etc.

How do you find time to do what you have planned when you are given a curve ball? We try to plan everything just right but it doesn’t seem to work that way and when push comes to shove the gym doesn’t always make it to the top of our priority list. So what should you do when you’re in a bind for time but still want to look good this summer. Well I will tell you it is a lot easier than it seems and it all started with this conversation.

So, it’s 9:30 at night and one of my best friends, clients and fellow health coach calls me in distress. I thought it was going to be about her anniversary, her upcoming trip to Vegas, or the dreaded finals. But, she called concerned because she was taking a week off from my 30 day Bikini fitness program. She has been seeing such amazing results and she didn’t want to lose any progress. As her friend I am more concerned about her success in school than how hot she looks at a Vegas pool party (still very high in importance). Since results are cultivated in the kitchen I stressed the importance of eating extra clean this week and focusing on water intake.

-Although she agreed with my solution, I still hadn’t resolved her problem.

But Britney, I feel better when I work out and I don’t want to lose my drive to get back into my routine once finals end and summer break starts.

-Eek, curve ball I wasn’t expecting that.

Coach mode must have kicked in because I went from listener to problem solver in 2.5 seconds.

See my friend is an English major who writes essays like she is drinking water on a hot summer day. I don’t know about you but I have already gotten up 3 times while writing this short post so imagine 6-10 pages with an impeding deadline and grade attached. On top of being a full time student she is a single mother, school teacher and manages time for her significant other. Whew, that is a full plate so my solution had to be simple.

Instead of using your brain breaks to scroll the newest additions to Facebook or Instagram, take a workout break. YES, a workout break!

-Simple but genius if I must say so myself J

Not only was I maximizing her time, exercise has also been shown to increase mental focus and energy. She can expect to maintain her results while possibly finishing that essay more quickly, isn’t that just the cherry on top.

So by now I am sure you’re wondering what workout regimen I suggested, and why didn’t you think of this sooner right? The answer is simple body-weight exercises such as squats, crunches, push-ups and mountain climbers which are effective, simple and space friendly.

An example of your workout would look like this:

Type type or whatever other activity you are doing:

Break: 10 push-ups, 20 crunches, 20 squats, 20 Mountain climbers

Type Type:

Break: 15 Push-ups, 30 Crunches, 30 Squats, 30 Mountain climbers

Type type:

Break: 20 Push-ups, 40 crunches, 40 squats, 40 Mountain climbers

Alternatively you can set a countdown to 15 minutes and complete as much as you can.

So on and so forth, you get the drill right?

This is what you should take away from this, don’t let your circumstances give you an excuse to neglect your goals instead work around them because life is never lineal and you can always expect to be thrown a curve ball.

The key is to stay consistent so you never starting over. We all get busy, overwhelmed and burnt out but when you remember that this is not a temporary goal but rather a lifelong aspiration for longevity you decide that everyday matters.

This concept can be used for other things besides exercise because I am sure we all have unfinished projects, goals and aspirations.

Heck, I have been talking about blogging for as far back as I can remember.

Don’t let time pass by because the right time will never come, there will always be things to do and deadlines to meet so take the time to fill up your dead space with productivity, good thought and creativity. And don’t forget to exercise and eat well.

Losing weight is what most people wanted to achieve. They have various and different reasons why they want to shed pounds, but they all have the same goal and that is to achieve a healthy and physically fit body. For many individuals, this is just usually a dream, but dreams do come true. If you really want to lose weight, you just need motivation and drive, as well as help from a professional local personal trainer.

There are so many ways and methods to lose weight and burn fat, but the challenge there is to burn fat quickly. When you are able to utilize the right resources and apply the proper techniques, losing weight is fast and easy. Well, of course, you can get faster and desirable results when you hire a local personal trainer within your area.

There are many great reasons for hiring a local personal trainer. Check out the following advantages of hiring a personal trainer:

A personal trainer is perfect for beginners or for someone who has not exercised for some time. The personal trainer will be able to come up with the appropriate and suitable workout program depending on a person’s workout level, needs and abilities. A personal trainer would assist you in using all the training equipment. Whether you have your own exercise machines at home, or you are working out at the gym, your trainer would be there to teach you how to use them and assist you. You should learn how to use these machines properly to avoid accidents that would lead to injuries. Therefore, it is must to seek guidance from a professional fitness trainer before you begin using these machines.
Personal trainers are required to have even just basic knowledge of nutrition. This means that you can get advice about the appropriate diet that would best work for you.

Hey if you want a sweet, high protein, breakfast idea (and you like apple pie)

check out this recipe. I just tried it.

It’s called Nanny’s Apple Pie Oats In Sacramento

Ingredients

• . cup oatmeal

• . cup oat bran

• 1 apple (cored and diced)

• ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce

• ó tsp cinnamon

• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

• 1 cup water

• . tsp vanilla extract

• ó tsp stevia

Directions

1. In a big bowl, mix oatmeal, oat bran, protein powder, vanilla

extract and water.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the apple, apple sauce, cinnamon and

stevia (or Splenda).
3. Coat a small baking pan with cooking spray.

4. Pour the apple sauce mixture in the baking dish, then pour

the oat mixture on top.
5. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.

And it’s just like eating an apple cobbler.

I gotta qualify something, I’m a big apple dessert fan, If I could I would

eat a real apple pie or an apple cobbler for breakfast every day, but that

wouldn’t really help with staying lean, but this is a pretty damn good

alternative.

It’s got approx 475 calories as written (which is about the same as a commercial

muffin and a coffee from any standard coffee shop)

But the big difference is this bad boy has 40 grams of protein and only 8 grams

of fat…

…. whereas your commercial muffin and coffee would be more like 4 grams of

protein and 20 grams of fat!

It makes a big enough serving that you could even split it into two smaller

snacks if you want.

Give it a try

Posing is one of the most underrated element by bodybuilders, participants who do posing with perfect muscle could win the game although he has not the best. When the judges see and evaluate you on stage, they see and evaluate:

Muscle mass. Perception of muscle size. Has become the foundation of bodybuilding since the initial assessment. Muscle mass is not the only measurement, other qualities are necessary if the assessment process. Whoever is doing the diet correctly able to advance to the stage with the body is very dry (lean) but it does not make them bodybuilders. Definition bodybuilder muscle mass should have a much larger than normal people
.
The muscle definition. Muscle definition clearly shows how your muscles with low levels of fat under the skin. Muscle definition is needed to show how far the development of your physical. definition becomes important to show your muscle mass development clearly. A large man can only have a 50 cm bicep muscle, but has no muscle definition. Bodybuilders should be able to show his muscles clearly, it is characterized by low levels of fat under the skin that can cover the muscle definition.

Muscle symmetry and proportion. Symmetry is a balanced development between the muscle right and left parts of the body’s muscles. The proportion of the body is a balance between the development of muscle mass is one body with another body muscle mass. Basically the body part that “strong” must be proportionate or balanced with body parts that “weak”. The bodybuilder should strive to obtain a balanced muscle development among different muscle groups. Chest muscles are large and muscular can look ugly if you have a small foot muscles, as well as the large triceps muscle must be balanced with a greater bicep muscle that showed symmetrical muscle development. It’s hard to hide the muscles that do not grow if you do not wear anything but panties match, therefore train the muscles that you feel is lacking.

Presentation Stage. The presentation stage is the performance of the force (poses) and other factors such as tone (color) skin, hair style, charisma and posture. effective presentation is vital to demonstrate the physical development of your potential. The presentation stage is a vital point to show your body to the jury. You can just have the best physical on stage, but if you can not show your value will go down in the eyes of the jury.

Compulsory poses and free poses can different between each contest, learn some pose that required. It would be very embarrassing if you cannot perform the desired pose of the jury, in general pose a required are : Front Double Biceps, Front Lat Spread, Side Chest, Side Triceps, Rear Double Biceps, Rear Lat Spread, Abdominal Pose, Most Muscular,

The best way is to go to competitions as a spectator, to find out the furrows of the competition and the time required for each pose.

Poses a guide through the video is the best way to learn and practice various poses at home. A good video covers how to perform compulsory poses and the free poses, and what not to do.

Intensively practicing. Perform poses that require very high strength and endurance. It is difficult to stretch the muscles of the ankle up to your head when trying to appear relaxed. Practice hour per day on days of competition preparation.

Supplementation with potassium. Potassium helps to prevent muscle cramps. It would be very embarrassing when you have cramps when doing poses on stage.

When most people think about a bodybuilding contest, they think of the months or years of preparation that the contestants have put into sculpting their physique. They imagine many hours spent in the gym, grunting and sweating as a bodybuilder focuses on the dynamic interplay between his or her stamina and strength. What they don’t realize, however, is that there is an amazing amount of preparation that a bodybuilder must undergo just in the days leading up to a bodybuilding contest. In many ways, this preparation is just as important as the gym workout itself. Just as gym workouts vary from individual to individual, pre-contest preparation does as well. In this article, I’ll discuss just some of the way bodybuilders get themselves ready to compete.

Sacramento Support Team

One of the first things a bodybuilder will do is surround herself with a strong support team. A support team can consist of many members, each of which may specialize in one or two specific aspects of the performance. For example, a contestant might have someone who does his hair, another who does his makeup, and another who focuses on getting him his hardest, leanest look right before competition. Thus, a support team is more than just a coach, and successful bodybuilders put a lot of time into carefully selecting the individuals that make up this group. One type of support that can’t go overlooked is moral support, so most contestants will also have friends or family in their support team to cheer them on.

Posing

We’ve all seen the typical bodybuilding poses, but most observers of a contest don’t imagine that the bodybuilders have spent hours perfecting those poses. A good pose can make or break a contestant, so bodybuilders will spend a great deal of time holding poses, breathing while in a pose, and just walking around in a way that exaggerates their muscle definition.

Tans

Bodybuilders put a lot of time into tanning to maintain a darker color. Some say the darker color enhances muscle tone, others just believe it looks better. Either way, it is uncommon to see a bodybuilding contest with pale white contestants. Some contestants will keep a tan all the time by going to a tanning salon regularly, others begin tanning right before the contest. Most, however, also get a spray tan right before the contest. Planning ahead is important for this as well, as contestants who wait until the last minute and don’t get a base tan may have a spray tan application that looks blotchy and artificial.

Pre-contest Coach

Many professional bodybuilders will enlist the help of a coach to help them just before the contest. These coaches may specialize in methods to increase definition, the appearance of bulk, etc., as well as in motivational and confidence-building techniques. Many beginning bodybuilders can’t afford this sort of help, but having a pre-contest coach can make a huge difference in one’s chances to win.

When one thinks of all that goes into a bodybuilding contest, it’s impossible not to admire the motivation and devotion of the contestants. Bodybuilding is a sport that requires intense mental and physical discipline. That discipline extends beyond gym workouts to the extensive preparation involved in participating in a bodybuilding contest.

Does the number of calories you burn during a run depend on how tall you are? A new study answers this question.

It turns out that shorter people burn more calories than taller people when they run the same distance as the tall person. It seems that they would because that they take shorter strides means that they would have to take more steps to cover the same distance. Now a study published in the November 12, 2010 issue of Journal of Experimental Biology concludes exactly that. Apparently, it has long been known that shorter people use more energy per pound of body weight while walking, but the reasons were not known. The reasons have become much clearer.

The study had subjects walk on treadmills at speeds from about a mile per hour to over four miles per hour. The subjects weighed between 35 and 195 pounds and were between about four and six feet in height. The researchers measured how much oxygen the subjects used and measured their stride and calculated their metabolic rate. As expected, the subjects expended about the same amount of energy for each stride they took. But from the data they collected, the researchers also developed anequation that added a person’s weight as a variable to determine how much energy people actually use while walking.

This new equation could be used in many ways. One of these is the calorie counter on treadmills, elliptical trainers, and other exercise equipment, where the user’s body size can provide a more accurate reading. Wait, you say. How have these calorie counters counted in the past if they didn’t take into account to user’s body weight? Apparently, they did, but through a less sophisticated formula. The equipment manufacturers do not publish this information, so this remains a mystery. If you’ve ever wondered how the heck a machine can count calories burned while you’re using it, know you know the secret – they don’t! Pedometers could be improved in a similar way. Perhaps the army could also more accurately calculate how much energy soldiers expend, and therefore how any calories they need, while carrying different-sized loads.

So it seems that, back when getting somewhere by foot to find food was more important, being tall was more of an advantage than it is now, because tall people would burn fewer calories to accomplish the same goal. Of course, these days we don’t move much and have more than enough food. A lot of us just want to lose weight. Maybe the shorties will prevail after all. At least they can spend less time on their exercise equipment to achieve the same result.

The study’s results also helps explain why children tire more quickly than adults while out for a walk. The study show that children walk in the same physiological way that adults do, regardless of height. Thus, taller people do not use less energy simply because they walk differently.

The study was conducted by Peter Weyand, of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Maurice Puyau and Nancy Butte of the USDA/ARS Children’s Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine.

scoobysworkshop.com A lot of people are promoting interval training. Are you just wasting your time with old fashion walking, biking, and swimming? You’d think so from listening to everyone. Is interval training the best way to quickly lose that 20lbs of fat to get ripped abs? Benefits of interval training – burns more calories in less time – improves acceleration – improves speed – increases endurance Curious thing though, if interval training burns far more calories in the same amount of time why is it that the all the big health advocacy organizations like AHA recommend brisk walking rather than intervals as the best way to lose weight??? Its because there are other factors to consider when deciding what the best form of carido is! As an example, I’m an endurance athlete, I do half Ironmans and double century bike races. I can tell you from first hand experience that you can’t prepare for an 8 hour 200 mile bike race by just doing 4 minute tabata intervals. Nothing increases cycling endurance like TITS (Time In The Saddle). Interval training is a small but very important part of performance training in serious athletes. The biggest problem with interval training is the high potential for injury – especially with the overweight and undertrained! The reason that brisk walking is the #1 best way to for the average person to lose weight is that #1) you can do it anywhere anytime. You dont even need to change clothes to do it nor do you need to shower afterward. You can do it…

Over The Hill: How to take care of your health after 50

When you the tender years of midlife, you start prioritizing yourself more and less about anything else. After all, you’ve given all those years back to things other than yourself. And when those years come, everyone earns the right to be selfish. However, a lot of people entering the midlife stage enter a semi-self-destructive pattern and end up hurting themselves and compromising their health. With the right health and lifestyle techniques, your over-the-hill years will be as smooth as a ball rolling down the hill.

Annuity: For your security
Aside from having a coincidental end rhyme, having an annuity plan is actually the best way to have a safe and secure future. As we age, we lose our capacities to provide for ourselves, and having annuities that will provide a brighter future for us will cover our needs such as basic necessities, health accidents, etc. Excellent annuity plan providers, such as Aviva Life-Annuities, offer flexible payment options, higher payback rates, innovative tools, and extensive support to their subscribers. After all, annuities are made to take your mind off the financial matters and focus instead in creating memorable experiences.

The Exercist: Choose your own exercise routine
Who says that exercising is only for the young guns? Nothing is ever too late, including exercise of course. However, you have to choose the most appropriate routines for you, which depend on your health conditions and complications. Always tensed? Take out your yoga mats and head to the nearest yogi in town. Want to keep up your buffed body? Take out your bench press from the shed. There are literally thousands of exercise routines out there. You just have to choose the most suitable ones for you.

Protonic Thinking: Staying and saying positive things
Remember Rhonda Byrne’s worldwide bestseller, The Secret? In her book, she said that that “the secret” is that everything starts with positive thinking. The law of attraction, one of the many new-age beliefs, states that “like attracts like”, meaning positive thoughts attract positive words, actions, and even consequences. During midlife, having a healthy perspective helps to ward off sickness and problems.
